Charles Heidsieck | Maverick Encounters + Maya Njie Workshop

  • Caravan Fitzrovia 152 Great Portland Street London, England, W1W 6AJ United Kingdom (map)

This immersive workshop will start with a Charles Heidsieck champagne tasting and pairing masterclass. Guests will then explore the parallels between combining a bespoke scent and blending complex champagnes like Charles Heidsieck cuvées as well as helping participants discover how aromas and the olfactory sense unlocks our understanding of taste.

As part of the workshop Maya will instruct guests in how to create their own customised perfume inspired by the notes contained in Charles Heidsieck champagnes such as rose, peach, vanilla, almond, ginger and blackcurrant. There will also be 15 + ingredients available to experiment with such as musk, bergamot, vetiver, sandalwood and ambergris.  As a group participant you will receive 2 x 30ml glass pipette bottles to tailor to your own preference. It’s a fun way to put your own stamp on how you wear your very own bespoke scent. You will also receive a Maya Njie Discovery Set (5 x 2ml vials) to take with you – a great way to explore her perfume range at your own leisure. We hope to see you there!

Limited availability.

*Important: Please be aware that we will be working with diluted ingredients commonly used in perfumery and some contain allergens (many of which are naturally occurring in essential oils). There will be a declaration of allergens as part of the course introduction, if you have sensitive skin please take this into consideration and consult your doctor beforehand if unsure.
